Letter to the MP, Lucy's Work

Dear Mr Mp.

I am writing this letter on my views on why Rupert should own all over sky? There are so many reasons I could give you on why he shouldn’t run all off sky, but first I would like to say Sky is a massive one of the biggest media sector in the UK, is Rupert fit to handle that after all this phone hacking scandal? We all know he owns loads off newspapers but look what happened to  news off the world, a lot off the public was angry considering with what happened for him to own all off sky, what effect will that have on the public, I say a lot the public is most of sky consumers which means paying the taxi on time or things like that, the public can’t trust Rupert by inverting  there money they work and want to come home and watch a nice television in to someone who hacks people phone or a company that has done a big thing like that which is complete wrong as another MP also shares the same views the  public. For someone to own a massive UK company is a big choose but the public should all take a vote on the sky box that own sky,  for someone to have a lot of bad media not a good idea in the public’s eye as they  won’t trust him.  As  Ofcom’s rules on cross media ownership (a bit hard work, but basically shows how people who own newspapers can’t own telly (except Rupert) which is understandably as for them as a company but would the public give off come more complains? As you see my strong argument but hope you see that the public is apart off this vote on Rupert owning all over Sky?

Story broad.

CLAY ANIMATION.

i used ispotmotion techqunie to flim my anamation clip i partnered up with a class mate and made a story based on bullying and what it can turn into what action bullying can have on a person and even the bully. I used my own morphy i made and also my partenrs morphy and done a couple scenes based on what happenes in bullying and the concept in bullying. i got other characters for other scenes to show what could happen in bullying and what effect it has on people.

For my cut out animation project using i-stop motion, i cut out a couple of characters or something with meaning by it to make a story from different mag's. from when i done my cut out animation i knew what i was doing, when it came to clay animation i had too come up with a story behind for the clay animation, i made my own moprhy, and done a stop bullying video/story, which is about couple seconds long. there was a lot of upside and downside but there was not a lot off things that dig not go wrong expect just getting the moprhys in the right place every little second.  it did go well that i did not know how to set it or where to have the morphy but once i got in to the concept and how i want the story. i finished my clay animations all in 3 lessons which was a good result for me.

Frankie Boyle's joke about  young Harvey Price, was just absolutely wrong and out of order. This type of humour sets a bad example to the public because of the effect it can have on Harvey and other disabled children or adults. It can encourage bullying and abuse and a lot of negativity in  a community which has an effect on us as a charity.  The fact that Channel 4 hired someone  that was  so rude about a disabled child shows a lot about their channel and the comedy it shows.  Jordan's views on the joke was that she wanted him to meet Harvey and see how much he would feel wrong off actually making that joke about her son, also said how she believes in Karma and it will hit him or anyone who makes a joke about any disabled person or something bad about someone. 

The OFCOM Ruling says ‘the material in question had a considerable potential to cause significant offence'  for the fact that this joke was defended is not right, because Harvey couldn't defend him self, even though he is in the public eye. We found this joke very offensive because it effects the disabled population because they can not defend there selfs and expressive there views on the joke made. The fact that he had to make a joke about a disabled person that is a child shows the lack off compassion. He also did not just make a joke once but more than twice shows that its not a bit of humor but outright bullying and going over the line. Also using jordan's child to attack her and tarnish her reputation, and unfair and wrong also Damages the acceptance of the disabled people.  Channel 4 should not broadcast such things that effect people in a negative way. 

OFFCOM  made a point and realsed the views because they got over 500 complaints .

This is what offcom said; 

 It has come to our attention that we've received an complaint from katie price , mother to harvey price in regards to  one of  Frankie's jokes referring to Harvey's son and his disability. On Frankie's behalf we apologies for any offence caused but he is entitled to say what he wishes to say as he is entitled as any other person to freedom of speech.

Frankie Boyle is notable and memorable for his crude , dark style of humor taking situations and story's from real life,parodying them in his jokes and is always testing his boundaries to experiment with his style for performing to the best he can in his stand up shows creatively.

If she did not want Harvey to be targeted.  Katie Price should have took more care of her children and not broadcast them so openinglyin the sitcoms she has taken part in documenting her life at certain times or months.
