Channel Ident Evaluation.






A channel indent is channels ID to show to others that they are watching a channel for example BBC ONE they adverts there channel indent before each show they have to create different indents because they need viewers and a channel indent also in engages the viewers before the show comes on air such as adverts doesn’t engage us more than indents but it also means what target audience there are aiming at.  


This evaluation is regarding a groups project by myself and my group, we made a channel indent from planning, producing and finally finish out creative piece in post-production  For mine and my groups Channel Indent we came up with three different idea's which we story board and mind map to make it in to a unique channel indent and used two of our ideas and emerged it in to one and agreed on the idea of the pupils saying there thoughts about the college because our indent have a target audience for those inside the college from the ages 0f 16-25 are aim was to make this channel indent for those in the college. In our indent we had the ‘Cwc’ sign in clay animation because the ‘Cwc’ stand for the colleges name ‘City of westminters’ that was our channel to make our indent for. Where we made a clay Pac man eat the ‘Cwc’ sign the reason we used Pac man in to a clay animation in our channel indent because it’s a well know game character for those inside our college which would hit out target audience.  We also got the pupils in photo animation where have word bubbles of what they think of the college coming out of there animated mouth. The Channel Indent was successful as it came out as how we planned it in our pre-production work from out mind minds to story broads and group meetings.
