Script Writer roles ; For Barrigton
Scprit Writter Role Information.
The person who writes a script for film is whether the 'big screen' or television and tells a story by way of a document written with a tight, precise format. A script is used by all the collaborators on a film project that the credits read after a movie finishes and you'll see them all there to contribute effectively to the finished product.
Collaborators include producers, actors and directors, costume staff, set designers and location managers, background actors, sound effects people and sound designers, and so forth. Each page of a script is equal to about one minute of movie time. That's one of the reasons that the format is so tight and precise.
A script is morphs through several versions from its original form from sometimes a 'spec' script that is simply purchased, and that script writer has no more involvement to its final form as a 'shooting script'.
All script writers in between are charged with 'making the story better' in some way they are a script doctor and approval of these results are mostly subjective.
If you want to be a script writer, you need:
• Command of the language in which you want to write your script
• Deep understanding of writing for a visual medium
• Complete understanding of great storytelling, especially a three-act structure
• Appreciation for the power of collaborators to interpret what you write
• Unfettered understanding of the value and necessity of being edited and rewritten.

Information on Zoopraxiscope.
The zoopraxiscope is an early device that was for displaying motion pictures. Created by photographic pioneer Eadweard Muybridge in 1879, it may be considered the first movie projector. The zoopraxiscope projected images from rotating glass disks in rapid succession to give the impression of motion. He used outline drawings printed onto the discs photographically, then colored by hand. Some of the animated images are very complex, featuring multiple combinations of sequences of animal and human movement.

Dear BBC New’s,

We are committed to giving them high-quality, original and at times challenging output. Creativity is the lifeblood of our organisation.
Equally, we must give our audiences content made to the highest editorial and ethical standards. Their trust depends on it.
We must therefore balance our presumption of freedom of expression with our responsibilities, for example to respect privacy, to be fair, to avoid unjustifiable offence and to provide appropriate protection for our audiences from harm.

It also recognises the right to private and family life and to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.)
We seek to uphold the BBC's Editorial Values in all we do. They embody our freedoms and responsibilities and, like the Editorial Guidelines, apply to all our content, whether it is made by the BBC itself or by an independent company working for the BBC, and whether it is made for radio, television, online, mobile devices, interactive services or the printed word. What follows are challenging requirements, but they are essential to everything we do

Evaluation - Stop Motion Animation
In My Evaluation i will be talking about how i made my stop-motion animation movie and the process and what i had to do to make it seem real. i got different types magazine's and cut out different things such as characters, backgrounds, props and just used a white background. I recorded my clip with a webcam that was taped to a tripod, i had to mark the spots where i was recording my animation clip, it took patience to do this clip. You had to move the image's at least every inch to make it look real. i used a lot of colours and humor and some black and white images and in one clip with different scenes. The animation stop-movie clip length is 10 seconds which is good for a first time stop-motion makers. There were a few things that went wrong like the steadiness of the webcam, it kept moving or i couldn't get the all story in the frame. Also having your cut outs to big and comes out the frame made the process more hard to do. things that went well was having a story to film thats why pre-proudtion is good eg storyboard, but finding audio for the clip was very long because i wanted it all done realisct,i used all different types off audio and sound effects such as laughing baby, motorbike sound, car sound effects, shouting sound effects and then i just record my own voice for one of the scenes that I've got to say is 'werdio' because off the action in the scene which is where the line comes in and suits the actions in that scene. The things i would do next time t improve my clip is better sound effect and try get more space for when i am recording.

Channel Idents Intro
all channel idents have a logo to show to their viewers who they are, they all have the brands colour's in there channel idents for exthose who know there colour brand by using the colour brand with Logo will promote the channel more to different viewers. In most Idents they have music but not narrations to allow space for the voice over artist to introduce the next program. Some channels use clips from shows and make an indents out of it with the logo, colour brand and music.
The length of an indent is mostly 29 seconds, indents always show before a show.
Idents are made for the channel to be in the viewers top 5 favourites. indents is the strongest view of a channel so its not enough just to say the name or the Logo, you have to do more to stick in the viewers head. The brand of the channel has to have a personality. these days millions is spent on idents and a lot off time in spent on idents, its the content thats the key off the ident , the producers make the ident stand out to different channels for them to get more viewers. Idents between the different channels is a big competition these days the better the indents the more viewers. they are also always have in brands colour in the advert.

Channel Idents; E4 Vs Channel 4
In E4's ident it grabs the viewers attention through colours, colourful graphics , lights ,toys and music. the Ident called Front Room , Idents viewers through similar locations and develops really quickly like young teenagers and middle aged women/men minds. The target audience are most teenagers and middle age women/men who like drama or comedy, middle aged men and women. For Example the have shows such as 'Scrubs' and The Big Bang Theory, Skins, Misfits, Hollyoaks and Made in Chelsea all these shows are for teenagers and also its is for all races and gender and also class and ethnicity is for everyone. there are a variety shows and programs for all the viewers. On E4' and the ident shows that its for people with a creative mind. The Brands and the channel is easily identified by the audiences because if its striking colour purple which is used in the background of the idents corresponding with the E4 Logo.
E4's replied through their ident that they are quirky, young, fresh, trendy and humorous in many ways and you can see that in the ident because they use alot of animation and capture the viewers imagination, it shows the variety off different shows that can be seen on the channel. For example, toys for the young teenage viewers , they have the records for middle age people who listen to records and the sheep, mushrooms just adds to the trendy and fresh look off the ident.
E4's ident is more creative than channels 4's ident, channel 4's ident is just simple myself as a viewer would change the channel because the ident does not attract me to sit there and watch it but E4's has a lot of deatil and its got loads off different artiest subject's in the ident. The ident has E4's there bands colour in there all over in the ident therefor you know the ident is E4. E4 ident shows its for all different ages by just the creative subjects in the ident.
Channel's 4s ident at the start has just a truck does not have the colour off the brand and its just boring and shows that there was not alot off thought or imaginations put it to the ident in the start it only towards the end they show there Logo by the time they have showed there logo the viewers would off changed the channel or even used the time to take a break to go to get a drink or go to the restroom as i would do to use my time but for E4's ident as already caught my eye at the begging because off its creative and animation and i would want to watch it to see how they have finished it.

Eadweard muybridge History.
Eadweard
become well known and famous for his pioneering work on animal locomotion which
used multiple cameras to capture motion, and his zoopraxiscope, which is a device
for projecting motion pictures that pre-dated the flexible perforated film strip.
Photo
off zoopraixscope;
Muybridge was
born at Kingston upon Thames London, England on April 9, 1830. He immigrated to
the US, arriving in San Francisco in 1855, where he started a career as a
publisher's agent and bookseller. He left San Francisco at the end of the 50’s,
while he was back in England; he took up photography seriously, where he
learned the wet-colluding process in the
60’s.
In
1872, the former Governor of California Leland Stanford, a
businessman and race-horse owner, had taken
on a debated question of the day: whether all four of a horse's hooves are off
the ground at the same time during the trot. Up until this time, most paintings
of horses at full gallop showed the front legs extended forward and the hind
legs extended to the rear. Stanford sided with this assertion, called
"unsupported transit", and took it upon himself to prove it
scientifically. Stanford sought out Muybridge and hired him to settle the
question , In later studies Muybridge used a series of large cameras that used
glass plates placed in a line, each one being triggered by a thread as the
horse passed. Later a clockwork device was used. The images were copied in the
form of silhouettes onto a disc and viewed in a machine called a Zoopraxiscope. This
in fact became an intermediate stage towards motion pictures and cinematography
during the next years where it has grown much stronger and HD.
To
see the results for ourselves on this motion pictures, We got a student to walk
past the camera’s and just took images and put it together.
