all channel idents have a logo to show to their viewers who they are, they all have the brands colour's in there channel idents for exthose who know there colour brand by using the colour brand with Logo will promote the channel more to different viewers. In most Idents they have music but not narrations to allow space for the voice over artist to introduce the next program. Some channels use clips from shows and make an indents out of it with the logo, colour brand and music.
The length of an indent is mostly 29 seconds, indents always show before a show.
Idents are made for the channel to be in the viewers top 5 favourites. indents is the strongest view of a channel so its not enough just to say the name or the Logo, you have to do more to stick in the viewers head. The brand of the channel has to have a personality. these days millions is spent on idents and a lot off time in spent on idents, its the content thats the key off the ident , the producers make the ident stand out to different channels for them to get more viewers. Idents between the different channels is a big competition these days the better the indents the more viewers. they are also always have in brands colour in the advert.
