Editing techniques.

Building tension is made up with 25 shots they cut the 25 different scenes, they edited by making the shots shorter and builds tension there are two main shots, which are long shots and close up.  The timing used in the editing builds tension and use off the music and expressions faces.
Crosscutting back and forth at the begging in the clip is away off building but the tension you can also crosscut back to the audience's showing their reaction, crossing cutting is another way to build tension for the viewers but cutting back it forms two stories made from only one content showing their reaction shots, showing the action for the reason for the reaction shot.
There also a technique called Seamless is also when the actions of the film are more appealing to you then the editing and the different shots used and the camera angles. A jump cut is a moment of discounting in an edit of a shot. It can be used as an effect to possibly reflect story or narrative. It often can create a fractured feeling, or can be used as a comedic effect.
A flashback takes the audiences back in time form one time to another time, and where the flashback takes and also adds tension to the film.  Gives us a back story and makes it more emotional and adding meaning.  It also shoes a back story by going back in time informing the audiences of the past actions that has taken place that is relevant. A flashback adds extra meaning and greater depth to the story. The TV Drama called ‘Pretty little liars’ uses a lot of flashbacks to tell the begging of a story (what happened).
Poetic editing; is when the viewer has to join the dots, it makes us the viewers watch what going on in the film. Putting shots together but not making it makes scenes about what’s going on. Changes between shots are I'm implicit with regard to story line or characters. Just at posing images/shots and allowing/making the viewer find the connection.
